The time has come. After several months of fine-tuning the release of Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron) is approaching. I could use several sheets of virtual paper to describe the new goodies both on the desktop and the server.

But I won't. The new features will be described by Martin Villiam Jensen on the official Danish release party on the 26th of April, and he will certainly do a much better job than me. The day will also have other talks, a Free Lunch(tm) sponsored by PROSA and some general Free Software fun.

So if you are already an Ubuntu user or is interested in the concept, come by the venue at Møllegade 9-13 in Århus. I know I am.If you are from the Copenhagen area, and think that Århus is too far away, and maybe are worried that you can't understand the locals, or that the local food will make you ill, don't worry about it. I have checked, and the locals do speak some sort of danish, and it IS possible to get proper food such as shawarma or bagels.

Oh, and here's the official flyer (web edition):

Yes, you are correct, we speak danish here in Denmark, not swedish like you do over there, but we are normally able to understand most of what you're saying ;)
